I wake up in the middle of the night writing out a song, sometimes it stays, sometimes it goes, sometimes inspires another song, like this one

The next day, and the feelings still there, I think of you, friend to be if I want it to be

I’ve got too many things on my mind, which one shall I take? Which one matters most to me? Which one is a song? Which one a song?

I wake up in the middle of the night, couldn’t go to sleep, try as I might I could not count sheep

The feelings still there but it’s more than that, it’s hard to put your thumb on it, hard to say what, like this one

Don’t like this one, some like this one, some like other ones, some don’t know which one to choose

Wild Stories

Oh, tell me wild stories about ancient days, about the pyramids and the lost lands, oh, tell me wild stories about under worlds lost to the sea and time itself, tell me wild stories

How it all started, Adam and Eve, can we go deep, unravel mystery, way out to stars, way beyond our time, ancient worlds brought to our land, tell me wild stories

Why does it matter? It’s only history, we can re-write it to suit our needs, one day we’ll know when we stop killin’ and look each other in the eye, tell me wild stories

Look in yourself for a moment, then look around, you will see miracles

I know sometimes it is lonely, but you can reach deep, and find the spirit within that you left alone, tell me wild stories

Let’s be real, Adam and Eve, a made-up story, make-believe, if you don’t believe, ask yourself, are we just a diamond in the ruff?, tell me wild stories

About creation, how do we know? Ask yourself, heart of gold, ask the tribes that go back in time, you will find answers divine, tell me wild stories

Take a breath, swim with the whales, let them show you Heaven on Earth, the seeds been planted, now let us rise, born to be the star inside, tell me wild stories

Look in yourself for a time, unwind and ask yourself, where am I really from? Tell me wild stories

Wild Woman

She’s a wild woman, you can’t slow her down, you couldn’t if you tried, set your hounds, she’s a wild woman, can’t slow her down, only thing to do is go along for the ride

Slow down woman, maybe stay in, watch a movie, order Papa’s thin, make love ‘till we’re spent, save a few dollars and cents

I can ride along, just for a while, I won’t have a drop, peaceful inside, another life, another time, won’t you be mine?, abandon the wild times

Come here, won’t you come home, baby come home

Ride for a while, stop and catch your breath, play some pool, go for a walk, walkie talkie, take the dog, bring her along

Good life, wild life, goodbye
