Granma’s Gone

Granma’s gone, now what can I do?  Couldn’t wait to get rid of you, my heart is gone, what can I do? Now I might get rid of me

I’ve no friend’s that replace her, I’m on the mend through the cold black night

I tell stories about times past, living the glory of what was, but I’m in no hurry to let her go now

Granma’s gone, how can I be? I am lost without she, Granma’s gone, how I loved her, now I must be content without her

She left me a 20 in the grocery store in the machine from the woman in front of me

We tell stories of times past, on the boat with “soft meat” Spam, but I’m in no hurry to let her go now, I’m in no hurry to let her go now

I’m on the mend through the cold black night
